Glory To Glory

As with a journal (or -gasp- photo album) one can see a record of progress …or not…when one has endeavored to be a Bloggist.

With just a year under the belt, on the calendar or what ever catchy phrase you wish, (i prefer not to use anything referring to girding one’s waist…too reminiscent of holiday indulgences leading to the infamous muffin top jeans) one sits amazed at the journey. If you were to look for a most written  theme it would probably be “trust” . I haven;t done this but just a guess about where i’ve been and where I am headed. I know that ‘faith’ would be right up there maybe thumb wrestling with trust.

I’ve watched the word counter go from w-a-y high to not so very. Adding images n videos and stuff n fluff takes only moments of fun rather than (what seemed like) hours of frustration{perfectionism}. Stats are still not so important but admit  it can be fascinating ; still do solemnly promise stats will N-o-t be a make or break my day.

These little glory moments speak volumes. Glory to Glory. Something I’ve heard. Thought I understood. Over this year I have also watched driven, perfectionists become more and more relational. People step down (or fall ) off the pedestal (where I had placed them)  becoming flesh and blood humans. Real people with joys, fears,  love and hopes (just like you n me). More glory moments still to be discovered….revealed…unveiled.

Having completed one of the books on The Nightstand…twice. True Faced. TRUST God  and others with who you really are.

“Our response to the New Testament gamble becomes a limitless test (a journey not a destination) telling us which road we have chosen.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror
the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same
image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

to be continued..
