Shandra Lee. With Heart Wide Open. A Miracle In The Making.

One week ago. Plans were made. Reservations booked. One week ago. 5:00 am . “Cancel”, He whispered.

Immediately I obeyed. Disappointed? Much. Since it was His go ahead to make the initial plans I knew there was a very good reason to change. Even so. Disappointment is such a small word compared to the emotions. As the week progressed He’s positioned and encouraged to see the Gift of the Exchange.

Sitting round a campfire listening to a team recall their Mission, with people I’ve known and served beside for years, Prophetic prayer with a group that is becoming ‘family’, working out in the park, spontaneous dinner with new/old friends, unscheduled  time with both sons and much more.

One week ago. Plans changed. I didn’t get my way.  Disappointment gives way to Dawning.

Until next time~Shandra~xox

  1. I’m sorry about your recent disappointments, but LOOK where God brought you! Obedience has rested you in good hands. A nice perspective, Shandra. Very well said 🙂
“Disappointment gives way to Dawning” I just may use that 🙂

  2. Isn’t that just the way God works. Disappointment leads to dawning…love your choice of words! Pam Mosher
