Have you seen Gloria?

Glimpses of angels
Streets of high quality gold
Queens lavished in diamonds
Stories yet to be told

Through the eyes of my elder
I see lands far away.
Tales of past, present and future,
-and although no longer linear-
They have not lost their way.

Authors Note:

“This writing was inspired by my grandmother who is 100 years old. She has dementia and her train of thought is not always easy to follow. On one particular visit she was asking “Where’s Gloria?” There was no known person named Gloria there, or who had recently been there. Grandma’s other fragmented thoughts of the day included comments about angels, Queens (and Jacks), Jewels And high-quality gold in the streets. I got to wondering- What if Gloria wasn’t a person, but the experience of a tangible piece of Heaven?”

No problem, you have a wonderful gift and you are touching many peoples hearts as I pen these words. Keep pressing forward and keep your eyes on Jesus for He is where our strength comes from. Hallelujah! Many blessings to you and yours.
