When I was first nominated for my first totally unexpected blogging ‘award’ (who knew there were awards for doing what you love and comes so naturally?!) a few years ago, i felt I’d “made it”. Recognition, acceptance. Validation. And who knew there were so many rewards? Thankfully I have not been nominated for the illustrious ‘TMI’ award. yet. A few of these lovely honors are posted on ‘The Stories’ tab on this blog. I’m still in process of what’s the best way to display these. If it all. Suggestions?
Each subsequent notice has been simply a feeling of contentment. Like you get when you know you’re in His Calling and Passion. When I first began blogging several years ago it was as a release and healing for the words, stories, ideas, memories and Dreams bottled up inside. The idea literally coming from several lovely friends, who, after receiving another 100 page email, cleverly disguised as a novella, said brightly (and firmly )”You should blog!”.
Like most of the others you’ll come across we write in the hope that one nugget may help another. But mostly I write for Joy, I tell stories. For Him.
Until Next time, Be Brilliant, Be Beautiful, Be Brave, Shandra
