On An Escalator Going Up

Here Here Here I told you a bit. Have time to sit a spell? Refresh your tea, coffee or Green Healthy beverage, so we can chat a bit. I’d like to tell you more.

During the Desert Seasons, as humans, we wonder why God allows us to ‘wander’. Anyone?

~

Often times over my own Life it’s not been so much wandering (in a negative sense), as being pushed into a New Level. Much like an Eagle prepares the eaglet. God prepares you & He prepares me.  He pushes, pulls, withholds, molds & Shapes those that Yield.

PotterClay How can one describe The God of Creation who knows your every thought, need, want, desire? The God of Justice? With a sense of humor. I’m a Jesus Girl and I LOVE me some Angels since I was a wee one. You might know I’ve learned the hard way much like Joseph not everyone is excited or understanding. Add to it just being my ‘Happy to Meet You” self & Yikes!

~

My point? The very act of sharing any of this shows anyone who knows, that God is faithful. That I am Obedient. Talking publicly about my Life with Angels? The Miraculous Spiritual Realm? Yes! With boldness and Authority. This Season I’ve spent asking God for more. More of Him. I’m Hungry. Anyone? Hungry for Community. Hungry for Belonging.  To find greater purpose, to fit in…to HIS Purpose.

~

Once you’ve seen The Heavenlies you can never settle for less.

Once you’ve entered His Courts…

~

On that escalator The God of Creation spoke. He answered the Eternal Big Picture Questions. He IS God after all. He answered the small self focused , self-conscious ‘what about me’ .  He  IS God after all. And He IS good that way.

goingup!

So  fitting that HE chose to speak to One Woman at just the moment she was smoothly going Up. He knew I would remember as I stood in the meeting  Saturday. I almost didn’t go. But God. They spoke the same way . Experienced the same Realm as I & many of you. Standing there, in HIS Presence as He saturated the room and in the Presence of The Heavenly Host -what else?

I cried.

While those around me assumed it was travel fatigue, I knew I had arrived in a space I’d never been  . A group I’d never heard of- to be Encouraged. To Be Refreshed. To Be Reminded. To be an encourager.

~

They talked about how God prepares His people as Camels are prepared-stored with everything we need to cross THE DESERand just when we think we can’t go any more. He Shows up. Anyone?

~

Good, willing teachers are hard to find. Here were a room full of them! Who walk & talk & speak &  see…Just like me.

~

This is NOT a story of arrogance. You do NOT know me if that is ever how you interpret me.

~

This is an ongoing real life glimpse into One Woman’s Journey of Repentance for, Obedience to & Standing in The Gap...for Generations. This IS a story to encourage you. to tell you GOD IS FOR YOU. One Woman reminded she IS going up. Smoothly, serenely, focused on Him. (He Who has My Back & yours)

Until next time, Shandra

NOTE: The Bible often portrays the desert as a sacred place for growing a greater intimate relationship with God. . That holds true for me. You? Linking this true story up with the Fine Folks at http://letmetelluastory.blogspot.com/. Hope on over and say hey to our Hostess, Hazel Moon.

  1. You share openly your beliefs, Shandra. I appreciate honesty and openness! I have a strong belief but love the idea of everyone being under one God. So, I don’t really share what I believe as much as wrap up everyone and give them hugs and blessings. Including everyone is my way of sharing faith. I love your sweet words, kind thoughts about angels, I believe in what you are saying! God bless you, Shandra! Robin

    • Robin, thank you so much for your response. Knowing we are all under One God and sharing that give ’em a big hug is another similar kindred Sister Spirit we share. Relationship over ‘Religion’.
God Bless you and Yours, Friend. Shandra

      • I like the way you put this response, Shandra! I am so sorry that I have been remiss in not catching up with you for awhile. I had been reading your posts more regularly in the past. I will make yours one of the destinations I need to visit more! Smiles, Robin

      • You are very welcome. As a layperson, please know how God views you. In 2 Timothy 2:15, the Apostle Paul speaks about you, as being “Approved Unto God.” I hereby grant that spiritual degree to you, “AUG,” approved unto God. Wear that spiritual blessing proudly.

  2. Thank you for your entry at “Tell Me a Story.” I have been off line due to computer failure and virus problems, but my husband gave me a different computer so I am back on line – just lost a bunch of stuff including all my e-mail addresses. This is your reminder until I rebuild my e-mail addresses.
Please return Monday around 5:00PM PST when the new week will be open for your story at: http://letmetelluastory.blogspot.com/
