How dare she say such a thing. Hadn’t he come from a long line of strong outspoken stock. Overbearing? He’d shown them, too.

“Breathe” he told himself. “Do –not– let– her– get– to –you.”

Striking a match, the kindling  blazed into red-hot flames licking the gooey delectable. Eyeing the tantalizing mass of fleshy  tendons he skewered another chunk.

Roasting on an open flame- the secret to successfully ending a relationship.

Piling masses of hair & clothing on the glowing embers while his unrighteous Shish kebob cooled.

He a woman-hater?! Ha! How dare she! He loved women. Every –last –bite.

  1. I almost hate to ‘like’ this, but it’s well written! Golly, where is Hannibal a guest at this dinner? You really wrote this very, very well! Impressive and imaginative! Nan 🙂

    1. Thank you much, Nan! Headed over to yours in just a moment. It’s nice to be back w/ FF. (‘Creepy’ genre writing comes forth quickly & naturally, though I’m not sure I sure admit it. ;))

    1. I’m glad your innocence & inexperience shows through Dear Friend. Have you never watched Silence of The Lambs (with one eye half open-closed) (me neither, but I’ve heard about it!) ? Dated, worked, Lived with- er um- read about Mysoginists (men who despise women) ? No? Good. 🙂

  2. Shandra, That is scary. O_o I watched some of the movie “Silence of the Lambs” but I don’t remember finishing it. I don’t watch zombie movies or TV serials either. I do write horror occationally, but I feel I have control when I write. This was well written. 🙂 —Susan
